This is a low-voltage motor running on batteries from 24VDC to 144VDC.

It features a ME2114 sin/cos encoder and is compatible with all SEVCON GEN4 series controllers.

Its power and speed range make it ideal for small electric vehicle projects.

For example, with a power supply from a 48V DC battery, the nominal speed of the ME1616 motor is around 2400 rpm. This speed can be increased with the SEVCON GEN4 controllers, which offer the option of motor defluxing.
